The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is looking for
Engineering Director in Aviation. Oversees all phases of general
aviation airport project activities, to include right-of-way
acquisition, engineering design and construction and associated
administrative and support activities. You must be licensed by the
State of Texas as a professional engineer.
(Professional engineers licensed in another state, but not currently
licensed in the State of Texas, must (1) meet the license requirements
of the Texas Engineering Practices Act, (2) obtain a professional
engineering license from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers
within six (6) months of the date of hire, and (3) sign an agreement to
that effect as a condition of employment.) You must have four (4) years
progressively responsible experience in transportation engineering as a
