Evan C. Futterman Elected ACC 2009 Board of Directors Chair

Alexandria, VA - The Airport Consultants Council (ACC) announced the election of Evan C. Futterman, AICP, as Chair of the 2009 Board of Directors at the ACC 30th Annual Conference & Exposition in St. Pete Beach, Florida on Tuesday, November 11. Futterman is President and CEO of Futterman Consulting Inc.
 
"As Chair of the 2009 Board of Directors, my goals are to facilitate the Council's strategic plan update; to further ACC's position as the industry's expert voice on airport development; and to further the interests of our member firms in a challenging economy by maximizing aviation infrastructure funding and working to optimize business opportunities for our members," said Futterman during his acceptance remarks.
 
"The challenges that the aviation industry faces in the coming year are numerous and daunting," said ACC President Paula Hochstetler. "We are extremely fortunate to have an individual with the in depth knowledge and proven leadership experience that Evan brings to this position."
 
As the President and CEO of Futterman Consulting Inc., Mr. Futterman works with aviation clients to plan and develop airport infrastructure. His career in airport planning and design spans 30 years. He has extensive project experience in the planning, design, implementation and management of airfield, landside and terminal projects at the nation's busiest airports. He has an excellent reputation with airports and airlines and is respected for his ability to integrate broad stakeholder perspectives into planning and design projects.
 
He has previously served on the Associates Board of the Airports Council International- North America (ACI-NA), has authored numerous articles and spoken at many industry events on a variety of airport development related subjects.
