Alexandria, VA - The Airport Consultants Council (ACC) is proud to announce a new ACConline.org webpage that will continue to support airport development experts in their contracting with airport sponsors.

The Contracting Toolkit for Airport Procurement, found under the website's Resources page, will serve as a single stop for both consultants and airport sponsors to obtain the necessary information to ensure a fair, deliberate selection process. The resources found in the Contracting Toolkit include the Best Practices for Consultant Selection Powerpoint presentation, FAA Advisory Circular 150/1500-14D, and the Sample RFQ for On-Call Services - a document recently developed by the ACC Procurement Committee.

The Toolkit can be found at the following link:

ACC has been the collective voice for airport development for over 30 years and the Contracting Toolkit is just the latest effort to promote procurement best practices. ACC strives to educate the airport development industry on ways to ensure an efficient and seamless procurement system that will benefit both airport sponsors and firms. ACC has sponsored numerous sessions at FAA and state aviation conferences on procurement practices, and is available to develop a panel session at industry events.

The document Guideline to Selecting Airport Consultants can also be found in the ACC Membership Directory and the ACC Excellence in Procurement Award annually recognizes an airport or airport sponsor that demonstrates excellence in procurement and contracting practices.

The Airport Consultants Council (ACC) is the international trade association that represents the unique interests of consultant firms and related businesses that provide airport development and operations expertise. Founded in 1978, ACC Headquarters is located in the Washington, D.C. area. The ACC Award of Excellence recognizes the contributions of an individual or group that are visionary and innovative, have advanced the airport and aviation industry, and have served the public in the process.
