Alexandria, VA – The Airport Consultants Council (ACC) announced the election of Brian P. Reed as its 2007 Board of Governors Chair.  He was sworn in on November 13, 2006 at ceremonies held during the ACC Annual Conference & Exposition in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

“I am honored to be selected by my peers to serve as ACC’s Board of Governors Chair.  ACC is already the international trade association that represents aviation consultants,” said Reed. “In the upcoming year, we will work together to establish ACC as one of the recognized leading overall aviation trade associations.  We will continue to build relationships with government, airport owners and the other trade associations, to utilize the collective skills of ACC members to better our industry and place ACC in the prestigious position that it deserves.”

Reed is senior vice president and director of the Aviation Program for Reynolds Smith and Hills, Inc (RS&H).  A 25 year veteran in the aviation industry, Reed has worked with over 100 airports in planning, design and construction improvements.

RS&H is a full service architectural, engineering, planning and environmental services firm.  It is currently the 15th largest aviation consultant in the United States, and serves airports across the country and internationally from 29 offices.
