Government Affairs Committees
The Government Affairs Committees focus
on assisting, advising, and communicating to ACC and its members on key
legislative and regulatory matters and assisting ACC in interacting with
and advocating to key legislative and regulatory officials on issues of
mutual interest and concern to ACC and its members.
Legislative & Regulatory
Chair - Brad Mims, PB Americas, Inc.
Vice Chair - Dale Wilde, Hoyle, Tanner & Associates,
Inc.
The Legislative & Regulatory
Committee focuses on legislative and regulatory matters of the
Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Transportation
Security Administration (TSA), and other aviation-related government
entities as appropriate;as well as Congressional oversight committees
that impact ACC and its members. The Committee also shares
oversight of the ACC Political Action Committee (ACC PAC).
Procurement
Chair - Andy Platz, Mead & Hunt, Inc.
Vice Chair - Dan Purvine, Kimley-Horn and Associates,
Inc.
The Procurement Committee focuses
on promoting Qualifications Based Selection (QBS), as well as addressing
contracting issues such as allowable overhead and man-hour rate issues
and the prohibition of Broad Form Indemnification contract
language.
Project Delivery
Chair - Manny Rosas, Chiang, Patel & Yerby, Inc.
Vice Chair - Ted Kleiner, STV Incorporated
The Project Delivery Committee
researches, analyzes, and promotes professional project delivery methods
for airport capital improvements and works to inform and educate ACC
members and their clients about applying such delivery
methods.
