Events Committees

The Events Committees allow ACC members to participate in planning and implementing ACC’s three annual conferences to help ensure that the issues of greatest interest and relevance to ACC members are addressed.

ACC/AAAE Airport Planning, Design and Construction Symposium
Chair - Courtney Beamon, Delta Airport Consultants, Inc.
Vice Chair - Christine Bodouva, William Nicholas Bodouva & Associates

The Symposium Committee is responsible for ensuring that the technical information presented at this meeting is relevant and of interest to ACC members and other attendees.  The Symposium’s format includes five concurrent workshop tracks: (1) planning, (2) terminal, (3) airside/landside, (4) project management/construction management, and (5) information technology & systems.  ACC partners with American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) for this event.

ACC/FAA/TSA Summer Workshop Series
Chair - Jim Harris, Coffman Associates, Inc.
Vice Chair - Mark Koester, Stantec Consulting

The Workshop Series Committee is responsible for ensuring that the technical information presented at the Summer Workshop Series is relevant and of interest to ACC members and other attendees.  The Workshop Series brings together ACC members with the FAA and TSA officials to discuss issues of mutual interest and fosters a meaningful dialogue. The Chairs of the Technical Committees coordinate with this Committee to identify areas of technical need and interest for roundtable or workshop discussion.  ACC partners with FAA and TSA for this event and members of those agencies should be included in developing sessions.

ACC Annual Conference
Chair - Marisol Elliott, PBS&J
Vice Chair - Brenda Tillman, RW Armstrong

The Annual Conference Committee facilitates the planning and implementation of the ACC Annual Conference by developing relevant and entertaining sessions that contribute to the professional and personal growth of ACC members while allowing the participants maximum opportunity to network.
