Purpose
Improve your firm’s
awareness of federal policies that will impact your airport clients and
interface with the decision makers at this year’s Summer Workshop
Series. This conference provides a unique opportunity for participants
to discuss a wide range of technical airport development issues.
Technical experts from the consultant community, FAA and TSA will
discuss new and pending advisories, guidelines, regulations and
legislation, and collectively help shape future agency directives.
Participants will also explore opportunities to partner more effectively
together.
Format
The General Sessions on
Wednesday morning will enable all attendees to mix and mingle while
being briefed on topics of common interest. This year’s Conference
will feature technical Workshops on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday.
These specific discipline Workshops will provide a unique forum for
round-table style discussions between consultants and agency decision
makers and will enable attendees to focus on in-depth technical
issues.
Who
should attend?
Those with
interest in:
-
FAA Advisory
Circulars and/or federal funding for
airports. Representatives from FAA headquarters and many regions will
once again be attending.
-
TSA Guidelines. The TSA participation in this event increases each year as more
security-related guidelines are developed.
Join us for breakfast on Thursday, July 14th and
see presentations by the winners of the FAA Design Competition for Universities!
