ACC/AAAE Airport Planning, Design & Construction
Symposium
Each spring the ACC co-hosts the Airport
Planning, Design and Construction Symposium. Planning and
development, landside/terminal facilities development, airside/airfield
facility development, program and construction management, and
information technology are the focus of the symposium, which is
formatted to enable technical discussions to occur. With more
than 600 attendees at the 2007 Symposium, many recognize this as the
industry’s premiere technical event.
ACC/FAA/TSA Summer Workshop Series
The ACC Summer Workshop Series in
conjunction with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is held each July in
Washington, DC to promote the establishment and strengthening of
working relationships between the agencies and airport consultant
community. The conference provides an opportunity for FAA and TSA
Headquarters and field representatives to discuss pertinent issues with
consultants. Members and nonmembers are welcome to attend. Specialty
workshops with FAA/TSA are also held on subjects including airport
environment and security issues during the event.
ACC Annual Conference &
Exposition
Each November the ACC hosts its annual
conference with professional programs highlighting major airport
consulting issues relating to the business interests of its members. The
conference provides attendees with a chance to discuss teaming
opportunities and business concerns in a relaxed environment.
