Business is changing…
Stay ahead of the curve!
We look forward to your attendance at the ACC Annual
Conference, the 31st in our organization’s history. Over the past
year, we have listened to you about how to use the conference to add
more value to ACC membership, and have developed an exciting program in
response. We have focused on unique ways for our Executive and Associate
members to become better acquainted, to learn about upcoming
opportunities, and to provide venues for firms of all sizes to be better
served through their involvement with ACC. Two new sessions, Business Speed
Dating and Small, Medium, Large
and Associate
Firm Forums, are specifically targeted to meet these
objectives. In addition, you will hear from experts about the latest
industry developments and there will be ample time to connect and
collaborate with friends and colleagues. Both formal sessions and
informal discussions will provide key insights on issues relating to
airport development and help you to build successful teams. You will
also have an opportunity to interface with a diverse group of exhibitors
who are eager to share what they do. Besides enhancing
Executive-Associate Member networking, the Conference program is focused
on enhancing ACC’s role as the expert voice on airport
development, and providing a fair and competitive environment for your
business to be successful. The opening session keynote speaker, David M.
Aitken, will be powerful and motivating. His topic, The Cauldron of
Change will address the fact that change is inevitable,
but whether we suffer in the cauldron or triumph in the outcome is
determined by how change is faced. Other sessions will focus on your
firm’s initiatives to lead in sustainability, to detect and
prevent fraud in your firm and to successfully conduct business in the
global marketplace. This conference will provide the information you
need to move forward, sustain and grow your businesses in a difficult
economic climate. The Annual Conference is where ACC 2010 Committees
will conduct their first meeting of the year. ACC Committee involvement
provides all firm employees an opportunity to earn about and contribute
to their respective technical disciplines or areas of interest. By
contributing comments to the FAA & TSA, ACC members impact industry
regulations and policies and gain knowledge that directly benefits their
firm’s bottom line. What could be more fundamental to your
business? Also, please join us at ACC’s annual membership meeting,
which will be held during the conference. The location of this
year’s event will be the scenic Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort in
Lake Las Vegas, Nevada. Many thanks to the 2009 ACC Annual Conference
Committee Chair Brenda Tillman of RW Armstrong, and Vice
Chair Mike
Floyd of Jacobs, and their committee, for creating an
agenda that addresses your needs, adds value to your ACC membership, and
provides real, relevant information that you can use to improve your
business. On behalf of the ACC Board of Directors and Staff, we look
forward to welcoming you to Nevada for an entertaining and informative,
yet relaxing event!
