PREPARE your firm for success in 2009…
CELEBRATE 30 years of bringing experts together…

We look forward to seeing you at ACC’s 30th Annual Conference! This event will prepare your firm for success in 2009! You will hear from experts about the latest industry developments and benefit from their professional perspectives. There will be time to connect and collaborate with friends and colleagues. Formal sessions, along with informal discussions, will address key insights on issues relating to airport clients and agencies, and lead to successful teaming arrangements. You will have an opportunity to interface with a diverse group of exhibitors who are eager to share what they do.

The Conference program includes first-rate sessions on issues facing your business. The opening session will be powerful and motivating. The topic, The Power of Teaming, addresses the teams within individual firms as well as how to team with other firms, airport clients, government entities and the public. Other sessions address how to help airport clients build stakeholder teams and how to interact; how to minimize costs and risks on projects; and how to hire and keep entry-level airport planners, engineers and architects. Hear from the airports and airlines themselves about the issues that they are facing and how it affects consultants and suppliers. Learn how to handle a merger or acquisition of your firm and thrive. This conference will provide the information you need to move forward and prosper in your business in 2009 and beyond.

ACC 2009 Committees will conduct their first meeting of the year during the Annual Conference. ACC Committee involvement provides all firm employees an opportunity to learn about and contribute in their respective technical disciplines or areas of interest. By contributing comments to the FAA& TSA, ACC members have the potential to impact industry regulations and policies. This exposure enables attendees to gain knowledge that will directly benefit their firm’s bottom line. What could be more fundamental to any consultant firm? Also, please join us at ACC’s annual membership meeting, which will be held during the conference.

The location of this year’s event will be the Don CeSar Beach Resort, approximately 30 miles south of Tampa International Airport in Florida. This beachfront resort is located on the island of St. Pete Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. You will enjoy sandy strolls on white beaches and sunsets on the horizon. Plan now to bring your families and come prepared to enjoy yourselves.

Many thanks to the 2008 ACC Annual Conference Committee Chair Marisol Elliott of PBS&J, Vice Chair Brenda Tillman of RW Armstrong and their committee for creating an agenda that provides real, relevant information that you can use to improve your business and ensure yourself success in 2009!

On behalf of the ACC Board of Governors and Staff, we look forward to welcoming you to Florida for an entertaining and informative, yet relaxing event!
