Recreational Activities

Golf Tournament
Golf has become more than just a game or a pastime. It has become the perfect way to meet people and to bring friends and associates together. This year’s tournament will be played at the Isla del Sol Golf Course. This exceptional 18 hole championship course offers challenging fairways, beautiful bunkered greens, shimmering lakes and gardens to enhance the beauty and heighten the challenge of the game.

Deep Sea Fishing
Western Florida is a fisherman’s paradise! Florida deep sea charter boat fishing is world renowned for unforgettable fun and excitement! Anglers from around the world come to Florida for this experience. Depending on the fishing season, you’ll be able to catch many different species of fish with us such as grouper, snapper, kingfish, amberjack, tarpon, cobia, snook, and barracuda… to name just a few. The captain knows how and where to catch these fighting fish. The fishing cruise includes your license, rod, reel, tackle, cut bait, stringer and beverages.

Dolphin Watch Cruise
The Bottlenose Dolphin Watch Cruises are the most unique experiences offered in the Tampa Bay area. The captains can confidently tell guests they have a 99% chance they will see dolphins from the vessels. Are they that good? Well, yes… but they also know the deck is stacked in their favor. Boca Ciega Bay is home to over 700 healthy identified dolphins. Guests never tire of seeing them swim right up next to the boats. If you’re lucky, you may see them jump completely out of the water. After all, they like to look at you too! While you may occasionally spot dolphins just beyond the docks, the best way to truly experience the natural wonder of these wild sea creatures is to come aboard and sail among them. The experience is sure to put a smile on your face and add a bounce to your step. Oh… be sure not to forget your camera!

Island Adventure
Visit Shell Key or Egmont Key — two of the few remaining undeveloped barrier islands remaining in the Gulf of Mexico. The only way to these unspoiled Florida tropical islands is by boat. Shaped by the hurricanes, waves and ever changing tides, Shell Key offers guests one of the finest locations for exotic tropical shelling found anywhere in western Florida. Shell Key is also a shorebird sanctuary, home to one of the densest shorebird nesting populations remaining in America. Arguably the most beautiful waters in Tampa Bay can be found at Egmont Key. Declared a National Wildlife Refuge in 1974, Egmont Key offers a critical nesting area to loggerhead sea turtles, gopher tortoises and box turtles along with dozens of tropical migratory shorebirds. Dolphin Landings’ guests love snorkeling in Egmont’s turquoise blue waters, or strolling through Fort Dade’s ruins and 100 year old brick roads built during the Spanish American War. The island also boasts a 150 year old working lighthouse! It’s no wonder island excursions have become so popular!
